Conferences: March 12

We are looking forward to many events during the month of March but none more than the opportunity to connect with families during the Spring Arena Conferencing on March 12 from 3:30-6:30 pm.

Important details

Arena Conferencing:

In an arena conference model, each teacher is available to meet with you for up to five minutes to discuss your student’s academic progress, classroom performance and any quick questions that you may have. It is called arena conferencing because teachers are arranged in a curricular pattern in the main areas of our school; the Commons/Auxiliary Gym and the Main Gym.

Due to the shorter duration of Spring conferences, we encourage you to prioritize meeting with teachers in subjects where you have concerns about your student’s progress.

Locations:

Main Gym: 6th Grade Core Teachers & PE Teachers

Commons & Auxiliary Gym: 7th & 8th Grade Core Teachers, Band, Choir, CTE, Drama & Leadership

Conference Structure:

• We ask that parents/guardians limit each conference with each teacher to 5 minutes or less.

• Students are welcome to attend arena conferencing but are not required to attend.

Time Schedule:

Parents come in and meet with teachers in a first-come, first-serve fashion. To reduce potential long lines, we are recommending families attend at a specified time. Parents do not need to sign up for a conference time.

Arena Conference Schedule by Student Last Name

To help reduce long lines, families are asked to attend the Arena Conference at the designated time listed below based on their student’s last name.

Scheduled Times

• 3:30–4:00 PM: Last names A–C
• 4:00–4:30 PM: Last names D–G
• 4:30–5:00 PM: Last names H–L
• 5:00–5:30 PM: Last names N–R
• 5:30–6:00 PM: Last names S–Z

Additional Information

If you have children with different last names, you may choose the time that works best for your family.

If you are unable to attend during your recommended time, you are welcome to attend at a different time slot.

Please arrive no later than 6 pm.
